O'Driscoll hints at Kilkenny move

Sean O'Driscoll has hinted Doncaster Rovers could make a move for Birmingham's Neil Kilkenny, who has been on loan at Oldham. The 22-year-old has impressed with The Latics this term after joining from the Premier League outfit in August. Kilkenny's loan has now expired, although Oldham are hoping to secure his services permanently after agreeing a fee with Blues. However, Doncaster are also aware of the Australian international's ability and are monitoring the situation should he become available.

Interested

"Neil is a very good player," O'Driscoll told the club's official website. "We have seen him plenty, as we have faced Oldham four times this season. "If he becomes available, he is certainly a player we would be interested in. "At the moment though, we are just talking to one or two people and waiting for others to get back to us. "If we could get something done before our game with Carlisle, it would be ideal."
