Brentford have signed rookie midfielder Josh Laurent from west London neighbours QPR for an undisclosed fee.
The 19-year-old, who will initially link up with the Bees' development squad, has agreed a contract until June 2016.
Brentford academy boss Osa Aibangee told the club's official website: "We are delighted to have Josh here.
"Josh has played against us in the past and he is a player that we have always rated highly.
"From our point of view it is great to have got Josh on board as we feel he is a player with a bright future.
"In the short term Josh will strengthen our development squad, but in the medium term we see him as someone who will push on towards the first team."
