Teenage Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith has signed his first professional contract with the Championship club.
The 17-year-old academy graduate has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
"I couldn't be happier, this is a dream come true for me and now I want to build on what I have achieved and go from strength to strength," Wildsmith told the club's official website.
"I want to carry on learning and I will do that working with the likes of Chris Kirkland. Damian Martinez from Arsenal has already been a big help to me.
"I'd also like to thank my parents for their support, they have always been there for me since Sunday league and I can only say how grateful I am for that."
