Sheffield Wednesday chairman Milan Mandaric is unconcerned by the club's recent run of poor results.
Dave Jones' side made a blistering start to life in Championship with seven points from their first three games then knocked Premier League Fulham out of the Capital One Cup.
However, since their shock win over the Cottagers they have picked up just one point in seven games and are now languishing in the relegation zone.
But Mandaric said: "When I first took over the club, we did not have a team to stay in League One.
"We changed the whole team and made it strong enough to get out of the division, and now we have gone up another level to the Championship. It is a big step up.
"We have brought in a lot of new players, and it has taken us a bit longer to gel. We have been punished for individual mistakes.
"But the manager and his staff are experienced and are working hard to eliminate these. There is nothing I would panic about."
