Chris Cohen has penned a new three-and-a-half-year contract with Nottingham Forest, keeping him at the club until 2016.

Support

Fresh from putting pen to paper, Cohen told Forest Player: "I'm at a great club and there's no reason why I would have wanted to leave. "The thought of letting my contract run down just didn't interest me - I've been a Forest player for five years and can't wait for the next phase of my career with the club. "The support I was given by everyone at the club during my injury lay-off was superb and the ambition being shown by the new owners, the Al Hasawi family, is very exciting. "They have big plans for the club and I'm excited to be a part of that. "I'm grateful for the faith and trust they have put in me by offering me a new contract and I'm looking forward to repaying them. "I love Nottingham and can see myself living here after I've finished my playing career."
