Ipswich dismiss reports of fall-out as 'complete rubbish'

Ipswich Town have dismissed rumours of a bust-up between Jimmy Bullard and Paul Jewell. The 33-year-old had been dropped for the last two home matches after a string of poor performances for the Tractor Boys. It was rumoured in Tuesday's papers that Jewell had demanded Bullard moved closer to the club's training ground. Bullard currently lives in Cobham in Surrey - a two-hour drive from Ipswich's Playford Road base. Former Town boss Roy Keane fell out with Ben Thatcher and Kevin Lisbie over demanding the players live within 30 minutes of the training ground. However, Jewell has apparently placed no such restrictions on his players. A club spokesman told the Evening Star: "Rumours of a bust-up between manager Paul Jewell and Jimmy Bullard are complete rubbish."
