Ipswich midfielder keen to put Saturday's defeat behind him

Ipswich midfielder Jimmy Bullard is adamant that his side can move on from Saturday's home defeat by Crystal Palace. The Tractor Boys lost for the first time in seven Championship matches and dropped down to ninth in the table. But it has been an impressive turnaround for Paul Jewell's side, who suffered four straight defeats earlier in the season. A 5-2 home defeat by Southampton and a 7-1 hammering by Peterborough were included in that run, but the club are now focused on achieving promotion. Bullard signed a permanent deal for the East Anglian outfit at the end of August and has only witnessed two defeats during his time at the club this season.

Forget

He told the club's official website: "I think we just need to forget about that (Palace) result and make sure we perform in the next game against Millwall. "We're obviously disappointed but I'm sure we will bounce back as we have some good players in our team. "There are still plenty of games left to play this season and we had been playing well up to that game. "The league is up and down. We need to try and get as many points on the board as possible, and hopefully we can be up there come March time and be in a position to push on in the last part of the season."
