Eastwood out for several weeks due to hamstring injury

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn wants to sign a striker after losing Freddy Eastwood for several weeks. Eastwood picked up a hamstring injury during Saturday's friendly against Norwich City and will miss the start of the new Championship season. Lukas Jutkiewicz suffered a dead leg in the same match and Thorn is hoping he can bring in reinforcements before this weekend's opener against Leicester City. Thorn told the Coventry Telegraph: "It's a shame about Freddy because he's going to be out for a few weeks. "It's not exactly what you want at this stage but we always knew that we needed a couple of reinforcements up front. "I've got players in mind and the chairman is working very hard to get them on board but we'll just have to wait and see if we can get anything done this week."
