Burnley have offered new deals to Wes Fletcher, Dominic Knowles, Alex MacDonald and Alex-Ray Harvey.

Howe gives quartet chance to progress at Turf Moor next season

Burnley have offered new contracts to youngsters Wes Fletcher, Dominic Knowles, Alex MacDonald and Alex-Ray Harvey. Fletcher has made one substitute appearance for the Clarets and had a spell on loan at League Two's bottom club Stockport County earlier in the season. MacDonald, meanwhile, has featured eight times as a substitute during his Burnley career and has been on loan in the SPL with Inverness Caledonian Thistle since January. The duo, along with Knowles and Harvey, have been offered 12-month extensions to stay part of Eddie Howe's squad next season. However, Howe has confirmed that Chris Anderson, Michael King, Nik Kudiersky and Chris Lynch will be leaving the club. "It's tough to make these decisions," Howe told the club's official website. "But hopefully the four players offered deals will have the chance to progress further with us next season and we wish the others all the very best in their future careers elsewhere."
