Hull City will consider a move for Tunisian trialist Tijani Belaid later in the week after examining him further.
Tigers manager Nigel Pearson will run the rule over the 23-year-old midfielder who is hoping to earn a permanent deal at the KC Stadium.
Belaid is currently trying to impress the Hull boss after arriving as a free agent following his release from Slavia Prague earlier in the month.
The Tunisia international was in the crowd for Saturday's home win over Barnsley, but Cardiff are also thought to be interested in his services.
Belaid has previously played for Inter Milan although he failed to make an impact in Italy and moved on to the Czech Republic in 2007.
