Hull City have confirmed Anthony Gardner has agreed to stay on loan at Crystal Palace for the rest of the season. Gardner joined Palace before the close of the summer transfer window and has opted to see out the campaign at Selhurst Park. The defender has made nine appearances during his time with the Championship strugglers and scored the winner in the 2-1 success at Norwich City in October. The 30-year-old, who has won one England cap, will hope to play his part in helping Palace survive in the Championship this season. Meanwhile, Hull youngster Jamie Devitt has signed a new contract which ties him to the club until 2013. Devitt has started six games for the Tigers this season after previously undertaking loan spells at Darlington, Shrewsbury and Grimsby.
