Barnsley manager Mark Robins admits he is considering letting striker Iain Hume head out on loan.

Robins keeping an eye on striker's frustration

Barnsley manager Mark Robins admits he is considering allowing striker Iain Hume to leave the club on a temporary basis. Hume featured as a substitute in the Tykes' opening two games of the season, but was left out of the 18-man squad to face Crystal Palace last weekend. Robins has discussed the situation with the 26-year-old and feels the best approach may be for the Canada international to go out on loan. "Iain's not getting any games here, so it might be right that he goes out on loan," said Robins. "I'll keep an eye on his frustration and hope it doesn't boil over. "He wasn't in the 18 last weekend and will be rightly disappointed. We will be talking to him on a daily basis."
