Sturrock will look at video evidence before deciding appeal

Plymouth will study the video evidence before deciding whether to appeal Darcy Blake's red card against Ipswich. The midfielder came off the bench just after the hour mark to replace David Gray in the crucial bottom of the table clash. However the Cardiff loanee was shown his marching orders when he received a straight red for a challenge on Ipswich's Alan Quinn six minutes from time. Pilgrims manager Paul Sturrock admitted that he would consider an appeal but only after he had seen the incident again on television. "We will have a look at the video and see if Darcy deserved a straight red card," he said. "If not we will lodge an appeal but first we will look at the tape."
