Keane cools Quinn talk

Ipswich have accepted an offer for one of his charges, but the player in question is not Alan Quinn.

But Ipswich boss admits another bid has been accepted

Roy Keane admits Ipswich have accepted an offer for one of his charges, but insists the player in question is not Alan Quinn. The Republic of Ireland international is known to be a target for Championship rivals Barnsley but Keane is adamant no bid has been forthcoming. He was, though, willing to concede one of Quinn's team-mates could be on the move after the Tractor Boys gave him permission to speak to another club. "I'm not sure where those stories have come from. We've had no offer for Quinner," he told the club's official website. "We had an offer for one of our strikers which has been accepted by the club. We have given permission for the player to speak to the club concerned but that doesn't mean that a deal is done."
