Young striker agrees three-year deal

Nottingham Forest winger Garath McClearly has penned a new three-year contract with the club. The 22-year-old has agreed his third deal in 18 months with the Championship club and will now stay at the City Ground until the summer of 2012. Since joining from non-League outfit Bromley in January 2008, the talented striker has figured regularly under boss Billy Davies. McCleary confessed that the club's ambition of securing Premier League football matched his own desire and ambition. He told the club's official website: "Coming from non-League and now having three years with a club with so much ambition is a dream come true. "The club is looking to push on to the Premier League and I obviously want to be at the highest level of the game. "It is fantastic. I am glad that the club have recognised certain things in me and I am delighted to be here."
