Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell has hinted that he would like to make Arturo Lupoli's loan deal from Fiorentina permanent.
The Italian Under 21 International has been in and out of the side this season but has featured in the Blades' fine recent form and Blackwell has already seen enough in the forward to consider a deal.
The former Arsenal man is having his third loan spell at a Championship club which comes to and end after Monday's play-off final against Burnley, but Blackwell insists no decisions will be made until the club's future is decided.
"Arturo is the sort of player I would like to bring here, Blackwell told
The Independent. "Pace is key at top-level football and he has that in abundance as well as a clinical eye for goal and that mental toughness you often get with Italians.
"He is the kind of player who can change a game. But until I know where we are next season I cant make decisions on anybody's future."

Lupoli, who has had six clubs at just 21, has had loan spells at Norwich and Derby in recent seasons and is hopeful he has done enough this time around to earn a permanent offer in English football.
"I will not go out on loan again," he said. "It is not good for a player to change clubs as many times as I have. I just want to stay at one club for two, three maybe four years, play games and develop as a player.
"I think I am suited more to the Premier League than Serie A and if there is a chance to have a good season in England, then why not? Whether it is with Sheffield United may well depend on the outcome tomorrow."
