On-loan striker eager to help over the next six games

Marlon Harewood is eager to help Wolves clinch promotion to the Premier League during his six games at Molineux. The striker has joined the Championship leaders on loan until the end of the season after struggling for first-team football at Aston Villa. Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has brought in Harewood to ensure he has enough cover for the run-in, with the table-toppers nine points ahead of third-placed Reading. Harewood does not feel he has a point to prove during his time at Wolves and is merely focused on helping the club to win promotion. "It will be nice to give whatever I can give to help the boys out and try and get them promoted," Harewood told the club's official website. "I don't know about looking beyond these six games - people might say I've got something to prove, but all I'm doing is looking forward to getting back in and enjoying my football. "The manager has just told me he wanted to come in and boost the squad. He wants the team to get promoted and so do I. "I will give anything I can to help out because the lads have done really well to get where they are and all I'm thinking about is playing these six games."
