Goalkeeper keen to be playing first-team football
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan has suggested he is open to a loan move away from Selhurst Park.
Flavahan joined Palace on a three-year contract from Southend United in the summer, but has found his first-team opportunities to be limited.
He made his first Championship appearance of the season on Saturday by filling in for regular No.1 Julian Speroni in the 2-1 defeat at Cardiff City.
Speroni is expected to quickly reclaim his place in the team after his wife gave birth, leaving Flavahan again providing the back-up.
Palace boss Neil Warnock recently admitted he could be prepared to send Flahavan out on loan and it is an option the 29-year-old is willing to consider.
When asked if would be prepared to go out on loan, Flahavan told the Croydon Advertiser: "It depends on what club it is, but obviously, I want to play football.
"At my age it's not doing me any favours sitting in the stands.
"But I knew the situation when I came here."
