Hills set for loan spell in League One

Colchester United are poised to sign Crystal Palace youngster Lee Hills on a month's loan. Hills has made three appearances for Palace this season, but the teenage full-back has not featured for over two months. Palace boss Neil Warnock admitted earlier this month that he wanted to send the 18-year-old out on loan and circulated his name to other clubs. Warnock now expects Hills to link up with Colchester after rejecting an approach from the League One club earlier in the season. "He is going to go out on loan for a month to get some games under his belt," Warnock told the Colchester Gazette. "When Colchester asked about him before we didn't have any cover for Clint Hill at left back. "Rhoys Wiggins wasn't doing very well then, but he's doing well now so we have decided to let Lee go and get some games and he wants to go out on loan."
