African ace pens deal
Cameroon international Rudolph Douala has signed for Greek outfit Asteras.
Douala has been looking for a club since leaving St Etienne and had held talks with Belgian side FC Dender.
But the former Portsmouth and Sporting Lisbon winger has now decided on a move to Greece and has penned a one-year deal.
"I can't wait to play my first official game with Asteras," said Douala.
"I did not play many games with St Etienne but I will be 100 per cent ready in two weeks.
"I spoke with Carvalhal [Asteras coach] and he told me everything about the club and what he expects of me.
"I worked with him many years ago in Portugal and he is one of the reasons I am here."
