Eagles boss struggling to offload those on the transfer list

Neil Warnock is growing increasingly frustrated at his failure to offload his out-of-favour players. The Crystal Palace boss must trim his squad before he can bring in any new faces, but is struggling to find takers for those players currently on the Selhurst Park transfer list. Carl Fletcher, Paul Ifill and Shefki Kuqi have all been made available, but are yet to attract interest. Brighton were rumoured to be keen on taking Ifill, but Warnock revealed no approach has been made. He told the Croydon Guardian: "At the moment we are just trying to get one or two out to enable us to get one or two in but I haven't heard anything at all at the moment and that's restricting us bringing anyone in." Warnock went on to reveal that he was hoping to bolster his attacking options before the weekend clash with Swansea, but played down suggestions the man in his sights is Newcastle's Andy Carroll. He said: "I think their scout asked us about him but we didn't really go for him."
