Forest ace has big hopes

Nottingham Forest starlet Lewis McGugan feels the club can go into the season full of confidence after their opening draw with Reading. The 18-year-old midfielder made his debut in the Championship on Sunday as Forest drew 0-0 with Reading - live on Sky Sports. McGugan has only ever played for Forest in League One - but he feels the club will be boosted by holding the Royals, who were a Premier League side last term. "Reading speaks for itself, the experience we got from that game will help us through the rest of the season," he told Sky Sports News. "We can now go into every game knowing we have played one of the best teams in the division and we were successful really." McGugan also thinks midfield partner Guy Moussi will make a huge impact this season. "He is a beast," he said. "He just controls the midfield and allows the other people to play a bit more, and he can play himself - he will be brilliant for us."
