Campbell-Ryce suffers dislocated elbow

Barnsley will be without Jamal Campbell-Ryce until next month due to a dislocated elbow. The winger suffered the injury in training last week after falling awkwardly and missed the opening Championship game against Queens Park Rangers. He also sat out Tuesday's Carling Cup defeat at Crewe Alexandra after tests confirmed his elbow was dislocated, rather than broken. Campbell-Ryce has now been ruled out of Tykes manager Simon Davey's plans for a minimum of three weeks. "Jamal will be out for a minimum of three weeks after dislocating his elbow in training," Barnsley physio Matt Konopinski told the club's official website. "He is in a cast, which will come off in three weeks, and then we will be able to work hard on his fitness to get him back in."
