Striker told he won't be involved this season

Dougie Freedman is looking for the right club after being told he will not feature for Crystal Palace. The experienced striker has been waiting to learn his fate at Selhurst Park following talks with Palace boss Neil Warnock. The Scot had a testimonial against Fulham in midweek, but appears to have played his last game for the Championship side. Freedman has revealed that he has been informed by Warnock that he will not be involved in his first-team plans this season. "I've spoken to Neil and he has told me that I won't feature in any squads next season," Freedman told the Croydon Advertiser. "So, I'm actively seeking the right move - but if it's not right I won't. I'm in no rush." The 34-year-old spent the end of last season on loan at Leeds United and has previously said he would be keen on a permanent move to Elland Road.
