Ipswich Town defender Richard Naylor has been pencilled in for a return to pre-season training after his neck surgery.
The 31-year-old suffered a slipped disc last season and after undergoing surgery in March is on track for a full recovery.
Physio Matt Byard told the club's official website: "Richard is making exceptional progress.
"He is working very hard on his recovery and if he continues to improve as he is then he should be back for the start of pre-season with the other first-team players."
