Teenager agrees fresh terms at Glanford Park

Scunthorpe teenager Joe Wilcox has been handed a new deal at the club. The 19-year-old has been rewarded with a new one-year deal after impressing for the reserves this season. Wilcox has yet to make a first-team appearance for Nigel Adkins' side, but he is tipped for a big future at Glanford Park. Meanwhile, Adkins is waiting to hear whether Andy Butler, Marcus Williams, Ian Baraclough and Andrew Wright will accept the new deals on offer to them. Key defender Butler, who is out of contract in the summer, has been offered a three-year deal to stay with the relegated Championship outfit. Baraclough has been offered a pay-as-you-play deal, while Williams and Wright are also out of contract in the summer.
