Keeper keen on regular action

Ipswich goalkeeper Shane Supple has admitted he would be interested in making his loan move to Falkirk permanent. Supple, who joined Falkirk during the January transfer window, made his debut against Gretna at the weekend and he impressed in keeping a clean sheet. The 21-year-old is well down the pecking order at Portman Road and the Irishman says he would even swap the opportunity of playing in the Premier League next season, if Ipswich were to win promotion, to be playing more regularly elsewhere. "I made my Ipswich debut when I was 18 and I've played more than 35 times for the club. I love it there," Supple told the Daily Record. "It would be fantastic to play for them in the Premiership but they'll bring in a big name if they go up and I don't want to waste another year of my career waiting on the sidelines.

Future

"I'll have to go back to Ipswich and have a chat about my future but if the chance to return to Scotland came up I'd definitely be interested. "It's important at this stage of my career that I'm playing regularly and the SPL is a decent standard. It would be nice to play in the Premiership but I need games."
