Keeper set to remain at Ricoh Arena

Rookie goalkeeper Danny Ireland has signed a one-year contract extension with Coventry City. The teenager was one of four players to be offered a new deal by manager Chris Coleman, and is the second to commit his future to the club after fellow keeper Andy Marshall signed on earlier in the week. The Australian is yet to make a competitive start for the Sky Blues but has still done enough to catch the eye of his manager. "Danny has impressed me during our training sessions and I believe he has a lot of potential," Coleman told the club's official website. "I believe he will only get better next season and he is also a great lad to work with."
