Derby boss Paul Jewell believes Emanuel Villa could be the man to fire the Rams back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Jewell saw his side relegated from the top flight on Saturday as a 2-2 draw with Fulham combined with Birmingham's victory over Manchester City condemned the Rams to the drop.
But Jewell believes Villa, who netted both of Derby's goals in the draw with Fulham, is a reason to be optimistic at Pride Park.
Villa joined Derby in the January transfer window and Jewell is confident that, once the Argentinian has fully settled into life in England, he will prove a shrewd signing.

"Emanuel will be one player in the Championship who I think will score lots of goals," said Jewell.
"He's an outstanding header of the ball - one of the very best that I've seen.
"It's difficult coming into a team that isn't really creating chances and feeding on scraps but he is getting better all the time.
"I am sure he will be even better once he has got a proper pre-season inside him."
