Tangerines star waits on contract

Blackpool midfielder Claus Jorgensen has admitted he is concerned whether he will be offered a new contract with the Lancashire club. The 31-year-old, who has found the net three times in 25 starts for Seasiders this season, is hoping to remain part of the set-up at Bloomfield Road when his current deal expires in the summer.

Concern

"My contract is about to run out and obviously something has to be sorted," he told the Blackpool Gazette. "The closer it gets to the end of the season you are thinking 'what's going to happen'. "But it's the same story every season, you have to get safe and then see what happens. "I definitely want to stay here. You really feel part of it. The dressing room and the atmosphere is brilliant and the other thing is that the grass isn't always greener on the other side."
