Striker not expecting to sign new Norwich deal

Norwich City striker Ryan Jarvis admits he could turn his loan move to Notts County into a permanent arrangement. Jarvis joined the League Two club in late January after spending the first half of the season on loan with Kilmarnock in the SPL. His Norwich contract expires at the end of the campaign and he is open to the possibility of staying at Meadow Lane as he is not expecting to sign a new deal with the Canaries. "I don't see any reason why my future can't be here," Jarvis told County's official website. "Notts is a good club and if I do well and the manager wants me beyond the end of the season I would certainly consider it and talk to him.

Fresh start

"I don't really see a future for me at Norwich as I haven't really been involved there over the last few years. "Maybe next year will be a fresh start for me. I am out of contract in the summer, but I am concentrating on my career at the moment and that means scoring goals and performing well for Notts County. "That is what I was brought here to do, and I am determined to do it. You could say in some ways that it is my shop window, and I will be working my socks off."
