Glenn Roeder has revealed that he is hopeful of keeping Norwich's on-loan quartet into the New Year.
The Canaries boss was unable to keep Martin Taylor at the club earlier in December, but he is more confident about hanging on to his current crop of loanees.
Midfielder Jimmy Smith has arrived from Chelsea, defender Mo Camara from Derby, striker Ched Evans from Manchester City and winger Matty Pattison from Newcastle.
All have played a part in the club's battle to pull away from the relegation zone, but their respective deals are due to come to an end over the next few weeks and Roeder admits that he has started working on ensuring that they all return in the New Year.

"I'm confident about keeping our loan players and I am dealing with that at the minute and over the course of the next few days," he said.
"There's no doubt about the fact that the loan players, including Martin Taylor who is back at Birmingham now, have had a major influence on our results.
"You never know how other managers are thinking but you'd like to think that it makes sense to leave them here.
"With the younger players, getting regular first-team football can only help them learn and in Mo's case it doesn't look like he has a future at Derby anyway."
