Manager says no deal has been done

Blackpool boss Simon Grayson has written-off suggestions that a deal has been made to sell striker Keigan Parker. Both Swansea and Nottingham Forest, who both tried to sign the forward in August, are thought to have made new offers in the region of £200,000.

Speculation

The speculation has been fuelled by the fact that Parker has been left out of the squad for the last two games, but Grayson has now dismissed reports of his pending departure following the Boxing Day draw at Sheffield United. "No deal has been done. Picking the squad for Sheffield United was easy because after we'd won the previous match 4-0 I didn't need to change my 11 or the five on the bench because they all had done so well," he said. "I've got players at the club who need opportunities on the pitch but I can only pick 16 out of 20-odd who I think are going to win us the game. I've been vindicated in the last two matches."
