Watford's players found out they were promoted to the Premier League on the team bus on their way back from their 2-0 win at Brighton.

Check out the moment Watford found out they had been promoted to the Premier League - on their team bus.

Watford beat Brighton 2-0 on the south coast in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off, putting them top of the Championship table.

Next they needed two things to happen in the 3 o'clock kick-offs for their return to the top flight to be confirmed - Norwich had to fail to win at Rotherham, and Middlesbrough had to lose at Fulham, two results that, on the face of it, appeared unlikely.

Norwich, who played much of their match with 10 men, led 1-0 until four minutes from time when Jordan Bowery equalised. There was even more dramatic scenes at Craven Cottage, where Fulham led 3-1, only to be pegged back to 3-3 by Middlesbrough.

In the last minute, Boro had a corner - stick on the draw or twist for the win? They twisted, sending keeper Dimitrios Konstantopoulos up for it. But the cross was cleared, and with the keeper stranded, Fulham broke down the other end and Ross McCormack scored the winner - cue some joyous scenes on the Hornets coach...
