Keeper delighted to win new contract

Watford goalkeeper Scott Loach has signed a new contract extension to keep him at Vicarage Road until 2012. The 20-year-old has firmly established himself as the Hornets' No.1 since manager Brendan Rodgers took charge in November and has committed himself to the club for at least the next three years. Loach was delighted to pledge his long-term future to the Championship club. "I'm over the moon, I didn't expect to be signing a new contract this season," Loach said. "I was just hoping to get a chance this season and I've had much more than that since I came into the team. "With the new management system we have in place we are going to go far and to be part of that makes me feel so wanted."
