Mullins praises Hammers spirit

Hayden Mullins believes that West Ham's team spirit will keep them safe.

Hayden Mullins is confident that the excellent team spirit at Upton Park will ensure West Ham's survival in The Premiership.

The Hammers have made an encouraging start to the season, and Mullins feels the momentum they carried with them from a successful Championship campaign has been a crucial factor.

"Our team spirit carried us through the play-offs and brought us back into the Premiership," Mullins said.

"Everyone at the club, from the playing lads to the management staff, is pulling in the same direction.

"We've made a solid start, but now we have to move on from here."

Mullins also urged everyone at West Ham not to get carried away with their lofty position.

"We've continued our winning streak from last season, but the danger is that we might get complacent and start sliding down the table," he accepted.

"But we've got some experienced pros at the club and the manager has a strong head on him, he'll keep us going.

"Everyone wants to stay in this division. We know what's at stake."
