Williamson plans targets

Plymouth boss Bobby Williamson admits he is already planning for next season, with a number of targets earmarked.

Having guided the club to Championship safety, Williamson is looking to further consolidate their position next season by bringing in several quality additions in the summer.

Whilst remaining tight-lipped about possible incomings to Home Park, it is thought the names of West Ham's Rufus Brevett and Livingston's David McNamee have already been mentioned.

Whilst Williamson is keen to keep a strong British element to his squad, he also admits to not being afraid to scour the continent for fresh talent.

''I have got a rough idea of how big I want the squad to be but I won't be telling anyone that,'' Williamson told the Evening Herald.

''I will be going for quality rather than quantity.

''I am looking all over the world, although preferably I would bring in British players.

''But I am not afraid to bring in players from mainland Europe.''
