Marlon a happy Hammer

Marlon Harewood has attempted to pour cold water on reports of a move away from West Ham by insisting he wants to help fire The Hammers into The Premiership.

Harewood caught the eye with a number of excellent displays for West Ham last term and his future was cast into doubt when Alan Pardew's men suffered play-off defeat last May.

Promoted Norwich have been linked with the forward, as have former club Nottingham Forest, but Harewood has moved to pledge his future to West Ham.

"I love it at West Ham and don't want to move despite all the rumours over the summer," he said.

"I am looking to go up automatically with them next year and I am not thinking about going anywhere."
