Charlton boss Bob Peeters admits his players are more interested in maintaining their unbeaten record than he is.

The Addicks head to Bournemouth on Saturday as one of only two teams yet to taste defeat in the Championship this season.

However, with seven draws from their 11 matches Peeters knows they need to get more wins on the board if they are to challenge for promotion.

"Sometimes it's better to lose one and win one, then you have three points and not two," he said.

"For me it's about the points, I'm not bothered about an unbeaten run but you see the players, on Twitter, they always say '11 games unbeaten' or whatever, and the fans as well.

"I'm not looking at the table either, I'm only interested in that after 46 games. But at the moment we need to get as many points as possible and, especially at home, try to play some good football.

"That's the most important thing, the points and the way we get them."
