Whites full-back joins League One challengers

Charlton have completed the loan signing of Leeds United left-back Federico Bessone for the remainder of the season. The 27-year-old Argentine defender joined the Whites on a three-year deal last summer from Swansea City. He was a regular under Simon Grayson early in the campaign, but he has not featured in a first-team game since September. Bessone has now joined Charlton, a story skysports.com revealed on Sunday, and the club could push through a permanent deal in the summer. "Fede has found opportunities limited and hopefully the move will give him the chance to play regular football," Grayson told Leeds' official website. Bessone, who will be available for the League One play-offs if needed, could now make his Addicks debut in Tuesday's home clash with Colchester.
