Striker set to face Exeter despite breaking nose

Charlton Athletic expect Deon Burton to be fit to face Exeter City despite the striker suffering a broken nose against Norwich City. Burton, who opened the scoring in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Carrow Road, picked up the injury after a clash of heads with Jon Otsemobor. However, after having his broken nose assessed, Burton is likely to be available to retain his place in the Charlton attack for this weekend's visit of Exeter. "Deon broke his nose, but it was manipulated back into place at Carrow Road," physio Steve Allen told the club's official website. "He saw an ear, nose and throat specialist on Monday and we expect Deon to be available for this weekend's game with Exeter." Meanwhile, the Charlton physio confirmed that Frazer Richardson and Lloyd Sam have also undergone treatment for minor injuries. Richardson has a groin problem and Sam is suffering from a tight hamstring, but both should be fit for Saturday's game.
