Striker will not be sold on the cheap

Charlton have told Exeter they will have to up their current offer in order to land Stuart Fleetwood. The Grecians lodged a bid for the striker two weeks ago, with reports suggesting the League One new boys value the 23-year-old at around £50,000. That approach has since been knocked back by Charlton, with Addicks boss Phil Parkinson insisting the club will not part with Fleetwood for less than he is worth. He told the South London Press: "Exeter are still interested in Stuart but they remain quite a long way short of our valuation. "We would almost be giving him away at the moment and it would make no sense for us to do that." Having signed for Charlton in the summer of 2008, Fleetwood enjoyed loan spells at Cheltenham, Brighton and Exeter last term, scoring three goals in seven league starts at St James Park. Meanwhile, Charlton have confirmed that Tim Breaker has been appointed as the club's new assistant manager.
