Hammers seal triple deal

West Ham have signed Daniel Gabbidon, James Collins and Paul Konchesky.

West Ham have completed the signings of Welsh international duo Daniel Gabbidon and James Collins, and England's Paul Konchesky.

Cyrille Regis, agent for Gabbidon and Collins, completed the formalities of their deals on Tuesday.

Both players went through medicals at West Ham on Monday and now the Cardiff pair have sealed their moves to The Premiership.

"They have had their medicals and a deal is done," Regis told skysports.com.

Hammers boss Alan Pardew was delighted to have completed the double transfer of the Welshmen.

"Danny comes to West Ham United with a lot of experience for a player of his age and James is an excellent prospect," said Pardew.

"He is probably lacking experience as he joins the club, but do not underestimate his potential."

Konchesky arrives from London rivals Charlton Athletic.

The 24-year-old has penned a long-term deal at Upton Park after West Ham agreed terms with The Addicks over the weekend.

"Paul is a major signing for the club," said a delighted Pardew.

"He is only 24, but has well over 100 Premier League games to his name, and I feel that he can only get better from here.

"He has played for England and will bring proven Premiership experience to the team. His great strength is going forward from full back and that could be a real asset to our team this season."
