Charlton boss Alan Curbishley admits that Dennis Rommedahl has been a major disappointment this season.The pacey Dane arrived at The Valley last summer from PSV Eindhoven with high expectations but failed to deliver in his debut Premiership campaign.
Rommedahl has never intimated a desire to quit Charlton and on Tuesday, chairman Richard Murray stated that he expected the player to show his full potential next season.
However, for Curbishley, the £2 million he parted with in the summer has thus far not represented value for money.
''Rommedahl has nowhere shown us what he can do,'' conceded Curbishley.
''He has been a disappointment.''
