Striker commits future to Bramall Lane

Richard Cresswell has become the latest player to agree a new deal with Sheffield United. The 32-year-old striker has signed a three-year contract at Bramall Lane after Chris Morgan and Nick Montgomery pledged their commitment to the Blades earlier this week. Cresswell, who arrived in South Yorkshire from Stoke, netted 14 goals in 30 outings for Kevin Blackwell's side last term. "I'm very pleased to get it sorted," he said. "It's a boost for the club that players are committing themselves. "I am pleased to see Morgs and Monty sign new deals - it helped me make the decision to sign."
