Gary Johnson has admitted Bristol City have still not received any offers for goalkeeper Adriano Basso.
Robins boss still hopeful of selling keeper in January
Gary Johnson has admitted that there has been no interest in Adriano Basso but added that the club still hoped to sell the goalkeeper this month.
The Bristol City shot-stopper has started just four Championship games this season and has not featured since September.
The 34-year-old was plucked from Woking in 2005 and has gone on to become a firm favourite with Robins fans over the past four seasons.
The Brazilian is widely regarded as one of the best keepers outside the Premier League, and has even been linked with a number of top-flight clubs in recent seasons, but Johnson is still looking to sell after Basso rejected a contract and handed in a transfer request in the summer.
"No we've not received any interest in him so far and we expect nothing to come in for him at the moment," he told
skysports.com.
Hopeful
"We obviously hope that there will be some offers this month for him because we feel it is time for him to move on, but until we get that then he remains part of the squad."
Meanwhile Johnson was also delighted with the capture of Barnsley winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce for an undisclosed fee earlier in the week.
"He offers us another option because he can play on either wing," he added.
"Plus inside and upfront as well but he does offer us a nice option on the left with his pace and his directness.
"He is comfortable with his left as much as he is with his right and he loves to go past players, so he adds another weapon to our armoury."
