United set to hand starts to Camara and Pancrate in mini derby

Sheffield United will field two trialists in Fabrice Pancrate and Henri Camara in their reserve team clash with neighbours Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday. Blades manager Kevin Blackwell is eager to find cover for striker Jamie Ward who faces six weeks on the sidelines after injuring his hamstring in the 3-2 derby win over the Owls on Friday. Striker Camara spent the final part of last season on loan at Stoke City where he failed to score in four substitute appearances. The Senegalese frontman is currently a free agent after failing to secure a full-time contract on trial at Hull City in the close season following his release from Wigan. Meanwhile fellow forward Pancrate is also available on a free transfer following his release from Paris St Germain last season. The 29-year-old has enjoyed loan spells with the likes of Real Betis and Sochaux in his native France in recent seasons.
