Versatile defender makes move to Elland Road

Sheffield United have announced that defender Leigh Bromby has joined Leeds United. Whites boss Simon Grayson stated over the weekend that a deal had been agreed and the transfer has now been confirmed. Former Watford player Bromby is understood to have signed a four-year deal at Elland Road and the move brings to an end a short spell at Bramall Lane. The 29-year-old only signed for the Blades on a permanent basis in the summer after completing a loan stint at the end of last season. But Bromby was given assurances that he would be allowed to move if a first-team place was not guaranteed and, after just one appearance this season, he has joined Leeds.
