Sky Sports sources understand Hugo Rodallega is keen on a move to Fulham - but a potential deal is still far off.
The Columbian striker is a free agent after his contract at Wigan - whom he had joined in January 2009 - expired at the end of last season.
The 26-year-old has visited the Fulham training ground and spoken to boss Martin Jol and wants to sign for the club.
However the deal is far from certain, with contractual details still to be ironed out as his agent seeks to secure the best possible terms.
