But the Norwegian points to a share of the spoils at places like Chelsea and Arsenal as signs of progress as much as wins at strugglers Wigan and QPR. And Fulham travel to Bolton on Saturday hoping to make it a hat-trick of victories over relegation-threatened sides.

"I think there have been signs this season that it's changing a little bit," he said. "We had some good wins at Wigan and QPR and I think we're genuinely playing more positive football away from home and trying to play the same way we do here at home. "If we can keep that going, and keep believing in our system, I'm sure we'll get our reward. "It would make a massive difference to us if we could win a few more games away from home, we all know that."
